How to contribute

Himia is an open reference project. We are working to make information accurate, clear, and easy to use. Every contribution matters: from fixing a single typo to improving data, translations, or code.

We want it to be clear how the project works and how you can help. If you notice an inaccuracy, know how to improve the structure, want to add missing information, or simply tell others about the project — that is already a contribution.

What we need most right now

The main priority right now is content accuracy and quality. The most valuable help is related to reference data: checking facts, finding mistakes, improving wording, and making page structure better.

Especially helpful contributions include:

  • checking data and finding inaccuracies;
  • suggesting better ways to structure information;
  • pointing out what is missing and what should be added;
  • fixing errors, typos, and unclear wording;
  • making pages easier to understand and use.

Ways to help

Data and content

You can suggest new reference data, improve existing materials, report mistakes, or tell us which topics should be added first.

Translations

Help translate pages and improve existing translations. It is important not only to translate the text, but also to keep terminology and meaning accurate.

Code

If you are a developer, you can help with fixes, interface improvements, performance, data structure, or tools for working with content.

Donate

Financial support helps cover infrastructure, project development, and the time needed to check and prepare materials.

Spread the word

Sometimes the simplest contribution is telling people about Himia. Share a link, mention the project in a community, or send a page to someone who may need it.

How to send changes

If you want to suggest a fix, idea, or addition, send a pull request or contact us directly. Even small edits matter, especially when they make information more accurate and easier to use.
